Rita G Croce

Rita G. Croce, 84, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 6, 2018. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Teresa (Spolidoro) Montanaro. Rita worked for the State of Rhode Island before retiring.  She was an avid reader and member of the Cranston Library Book Club.  She loved to sing and at one time was a member of Sweet Adelines.  She enjoyed cooking and loved entertaining her family and friends. She is survived by her loving daughter, Mary Beth Bryant and her husband, Thomas; a sister, Irene O'Brien; a grandson, Joshua Arnold and his wife Molly Messenger; and was adored by her many nieces and nephews.  She was the sister of the late Eleanor Feole, Louis, Anthony, Edward and Arthur Montanaro. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at 10 a.m. in Holy Cross Church, 645 Hartford Ave., Providence.  Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.  Visitation Respectfully Omitted.  Donations in Rita's memory may be made to: Tockwotton Memory Care Resident Activity Fund, 500 Waterfront Drive, East Providence, RI  02914.
