Rita Epton

Rita Epton (Thibodeau), 86, of Cranston, passed away Thursday, November 13, 2008 at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center. She was the beloved wife of the late Archie L. Epton. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Hormidas and Roberta (Savoie) Thibodeau. She had worked for Tanury Industries of Lincoln before retiring.

Mrs. Epton was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by her three daughters, Roberta I. Sullivan and her husband Steven, Shirley A. DiBonaventura and her husband John and Gayle M. Golomboski and her husband Anthony; six grandchildren, Dayla Simeone, Shawna Ferriera, Kimberley Cook, John DiBonaventura, Jr., Anthony Golomboski, Jr. and Jeffrey Golomboski; and five great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Irene Houle, Wilfred, Raymond and Norman Thibodeau..

Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 9 a.m., from the MACERONI Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Mary Church, 538 Broadway, Providence. VISITATION, Monday 4-8 p.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice Care of RI, 169 George St., Pawtucket, RI 02860.
