Robert W. Ferrante, Sr.
January 16, 1935 — April 22, 2022
Robert W. Ferrante Sr., 87, of Providence, passed away peacefully at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital on Friday, April 22, 2022. He was the beloved husband of Rosina (DiChiaro) Ferrante for 57 years. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Luigi and Vincenza (Bruno) Ferrante.
Robert was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was also a loving grandfather to two pups Ivan and Mack. He was an avid lover of the Red Sox and Patriots, he never missed watching a game.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by four children, Robert W. Ferrante Jr., Dawn Perfetto and her husband Steven, Denise Bloomingburgh and Tammy Costa and her husband Louis; a sister, Rose Mignacca; 10 grandchildren; and his former daughter-in-law, Judith DeRobbio. He was the father of the late Theresa Rotondo; father-in-law of the late David Bloomingburgh; and the brother of the late Anthony Ferrante, Tommy Ferrante, Luigi Ferrante, Vincent Ferrante, Sue Iacavone, and Ana Albanese.
In accordance with Robert's wishes, his funeral and burial will be private. Donations in his memory may be made to: American Diabetes Association, 10 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701
