Robert T. Pace “Bobby”, 60, of North Providence, passed away, Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at Orchard View Manor. He was the former husband of Joann C. Pace. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Domenic and Elda (Izzi) Pace.
Bobby had worked for the City of Providence in the Tax Assessors Office and was a member of Laborers Union, Local 1033. He was a coach for his daughters softball team in North Providence and had served on the Parents and Friends committee of The Groden Center.
Besides his former wife, he is survived by his cherished children, Keri Lyn Pace and her husband Anthony Macchio, Jr. and Anthony Robert Pace; two treasured grandchildren, Zackary Robert and Kayla-Jo Macchio; a brother, Anthony L. Pace; and his step-parents, Lucille and Michael LaBelle.
Visitation Monday morning from 9:15 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. at the MACERONI FUNERAL HOME, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Ann Church, Hawkins St., Providence. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to The Cove Center, 610 Manton Ave., Providence, RI 02909.
