Rosa Kazarian

Rosa (Valletta) Kazarian, 99, of Providence passed away peacefully Saturday July 9, 2022. She was the wife of the late Kasper "Joe" Kazarian. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Arduino and Concetta (Mastromattei) Valletta.

She was employed for thirty years as a Teachers Aid at the Federal Hill House.

Rosa was the beloved mother of Karen Sammartino and her husband Nicholas, Robert Kazarian and his wife Lori, grandmother of Robert Kazarian, Jr., Adrianna Ionkoff and her husband Adolfo, Nicholas J. Sammartino, great grandmother of Lilly, Sofia and Gabriella. She was the sister of the late Ceasar Valletta, John "Tut" Valletta, Alfred Valletta, Paul Valletta, Jeanette "Jennie" Tortalano, Anna Mecurio, Mary Romano and Carmella Caramante Cerce.

Visitation will be held Friday, July 15, 2022 from 8:30am - 10:00am in the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am in St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 1804 Atwood Ave., Johnston. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations in Rosa's memory may be made to St. Robert Bellarmine Food Shelf, 1804 Atwood Ave., Johnston, RI 02919.
