Rose (Capobianco) DeAngelis, 92, of North Providence, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, June 28, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Thomas DeAngelis. Born in Providence "Shoo Fly Village", she was the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Mary (Saurino) Capobianco.
Mrs. DeAngelis loved cooking and spending quality time with her family, especially during "Sunday Dinner" and holidays. She also enjoyed spending time with her dog, Sky.
A loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she is survived by her two sons, Steven DeAngelis and Richard DeAngelis and his wife, Amalia; four grandchildren, Lauren, Rocco, Marina and Anastasia DeAngelis; and two great grandchildren, Dante and Lorenzo DeAngelis. She was the mother of the late Thomas DeAngelis, mother-in-law of the late Elizabeth "Liz" (Deady) DeAngelis and sister of the late Louis Capobianco, Josephine Saritelli, Lena Pulaski and Connie Capobianco.
Her funeral will be held Saturday, July 3, 2021 at 9 AM from the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St, North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10 AM in St. Thomas Church, 65 Fruit Hill Ave, Providence. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours Friday, 4-7 PM.
