ROSE DI NITTO, 79, of Providence, passed away, Monday, October 30, 2006, at Rhode Island Hospital. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Civita (D’Antonino) Di Nitto. She had been employed by Goodyear Rubber Company and DeeTee Soldering. She was a member of San Biagio Womans Auxiliary and a communicant of St. Pius Church.
Rose was loved as a second mother to all her family, including her younger sister, Anna D’Elia, her brother, Amelio “Emo” DiNitto, goddaughter, Judy Remillard and her many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Anthony and Albert Di Nitto.
Her funeral will be held Friday at 9am, from the MACERONI Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Pius Church, Eaton St., Providence. VISITATION Thursday 5-8pm. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to A Wish Come True, 1010 Warwick Avenue, Warwick, R.I. 02888.
