Rose Marie DiRaimo

Rose Marie DiRaimo, 100, of Providence, passed away peacefully at her daughter's home on Monday, October 10, 2022. She was the beloved wife of the late William DiRaimo, Sr. for 68 years. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late James and Emilia (Prete) Altieri.

Mrs. DiRaimo worked alongside her parents at their family-owned Altieri's Hardware Store in Providence. She enjoyed crocheting, ceramics, and baking.

A loving and devoted mother, she is survived by her two cherished children, William DiRaimo, Jr., and Paula DiRaimo.

Visitation will be held Friday morning, October 14, 2022, from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. in the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Pius V Church, Eaton St., Providence. Interment will follow in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mrs. DiRaimo's memory may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O.
