Sandra M. Santagata (Souza), 59, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 13, 2016 at Greenville Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation. She was the beloved wife of Anthony L. Santagata Jr. They were happily married for 39 years. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Eugene and Mary (Pacheco) Souza.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her loving daughter, Kimberly Sherry and her husband Paul; a brother, Kenneth Souza and a mother in-law, Anna Santagata. She is also survived by her cherished granddaughter Katelyn Sherry. She was the sister of the late Eugene Souza, Eileen Olivier, Geraldine Derosiers and Linda Fiske.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday, May 18th at 9am from the MACERONI Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am at Holy Ghost Church, 1 Knight St., Providence. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours Tuesday, May 17th from 4pm to 7pm. maceroni.com
