Silvia Di Benedetto (Giuliano), 92, of Johnston, passed away, Sunday, July 11, 2010 at Miriam Hospital. She was the wife of the late Lawrence DiBenedetto. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Diana (Lautieri) Giuliano.
She is survived by her cherished brother, Alfred Giuliano, her dear sister, Elena Giuliano and many treasured nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Arlene DiBenedetto and the sister of the late Albert Giuliano, Filomena Papa, Melia Bova, Mary Torti and Yolanda Plante.
Visitation at the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, Thursday morning from 8:15 to 9:15 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Holy Cross Church, Hartford Ave., Providence. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to Holy Cross Church Memorial Fund, 18 King Philip St., Providence, RI 02909.
