Teresa Calise, 90, formerly of Providence, a jewelry worker for Coro Manufacturing, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Monday, February 23, 2009 at The Village at Waterman Lake, Smithfield. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Maria Grazia (DeFalco) Calise.
She is survived by two nieces, Joan Deptula of Cumberland and Grace Ferri of West Warwick; two nephews, Joseph Calise of Coventry and Guy Calise of Bristol as well as several great-nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Gaetano Calise, Frank Calise, Anna Calise, Matilda Albanese and Restituta B. “Rae” Calise and the aunt of the late Anthony Calise.
Visitation Thursday morning from 8:30 to 9:30am at the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Blessed Sacrament Church, 179 Academy Ave., Providence. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Blessed Sacrament Church, 239 Regent Ave, Providence, RI 02908.
