Thomas A. Pari, 89, of North Providence, passed away Friday, August 18, 2023. He was the beloved husband of Adella (Andrade) Pari. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Carmine and Angela Maria (Ditri) Pari.
Thomas actively served his community for many years. After his honorable discharge from the Air Force, he became a police officer for the Town of North Providence for 22 years, retiring in 1988. He graduated from Bryant College and is a Past Grand Knight of the Bouffard Council Knights of Columbus. He had a passion for horse racing and playing bocce.
Besides his wife of 68 years, he is survived by his sons, Thomas A. Pari, Jr., and Mark Pari and his wife Donna; his daughters, Adele Alessandrini and her husband Amedeo, and Sandra Marano and her husband Stephen; his siblings, Frank Pari and Genevieve Pari, and seven grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Carmine, Theresa, Anna and Rita Pari and Carmella Baranski.
Visiting hours will be Tuesday morning, August 22, 2023, from 8-10 AM at the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM in St. Augustine Church, 639 Mt. Pleasant Ave., Providence. Burial with Military Honors will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.
