Tina (Argentina) O'Neill, 84, of Providence, passed away peacefully at home after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Sgt. Owen F. O'Neill, Jr. (Ret. P.P.D.) for 64 years. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Daniel Fiorentini and Alice Taglione.
Tina was a graduate of St. Xavier Academy, Class of 1956. She worked for Allegretti Major & Company for 30 years before retiring. She was a member of the Mt. Carmel Church Choir and treasurer for The Friends of the Mt. Pleasant Branch Library. Tina's Kitchen was her own personal domain that was off limits to everyone else. She was a talented cook who enjoyed preparing delicious meals for her family. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sister, Debbie Senerchia (Mark); niece Kerri Lapierre (Jeff); nephew, Marc Senerchia III (Rory); Godson, Edward Thomas Myette; and her great nieces and nephew, Juliana, Lyndsie and Kylie Lapierre, and Sydney and Marco Senerchia.
A special thank you to Tina's personal caretaker, Gina Alves for her exceptionally kind and dedicated service. In addition, sincerest gratitude to her sister Debbie, caretaker Lisa Sulivan and her hospice nurse Lee for the tremendous care and overwhelming support. Visitation will be held Monday morning, May 9, 2022 from 8 - 9:30 a.m. in the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Pius V Church, Eaton St., Providence.
