Vera Tyzbir (Troiano), formerly of Providence, passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2008 at her son’s home in Williston, Vermont. She was the beloved wife of the late Alexander M. Tyzbir, also of Providence. Born on America Street in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Vincenzo and Dominica (Bacala) Troiano. Vera worked in a variety of jobs in the Providence area including the Vesta Underwear Company, the M & C Manufacturing Company and Acme Optical Company.

She leaves her son, Robert S. Tyzbir and his wife Elaine with whom she had been living; her two treasured and beloved grandchildren, Jon J. Tyzbir, Esq. and his wife Abigail Ashley of Williston and Renee Alexander Macneil and her husband Leigh of Hopkinton, NH; a great grandson, Samuel J. Tyzbir of Williston and a great granddaughter, Gianna Noel Macneil of Hopkinton; her sister, Della Lepre of Providence; several nieces and nephews and her very good friend, Vincenza Bedetta, of Warwick. She was the sister of the late Mary DiIorio, Louis Troiano, Nicholas Troiano and Anna Iannuccilli.

Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 9am, from the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Thomas Church, Fruit Hill Ave, Providence. VISITATION Tuesday 5-8 pm. She will be buried with her husband in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Robert S.
