Victor Filippi, Jr., 42, of North Providence, passed away Saturday, November 3, 2018 at home. He was the beloved husband of Sara (Williams) Filippi. Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of Janice (Boissy) Filippi and the late Victor Filippi, Sr. Victor was the owner, along with his wife, Sara, of the Bella Luna Candle Company. He graduated with honors from LaSalle Academy and attended New England Tech and Stonehill College. A very selfless, loving and giving man, he enjoyed the simple things in life. He was fascinated by art, outer space and science. He often said, "The only thing I can leave behind are good memories." Besides his wife and mother, he is survived by two sons, Nikolas and Nathan Collette; a brother, Paul Baptista, and his daughters Hailey and Ariel; a sister, Marcia Crites, and her son Christopher and granddaughter Bella Scalzitti; his in-laws, Helen Riley and Paul Williams; his sisters-in-law, Kathleen Bibeault and Kelly Warner; three additional nieces and a nephew, and countless cousins who adored him. He was the grandson of the late Albert and Suzanne Boissy and Peter and Teresa Filippi. His funeral will be held Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 9 a.m. from the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Requiem Eucharist at 10 a.m. in St. James Episcopal Church, 474 Fruit Hill Ave, North Providence.
