Victor P. Fargnoli, 77, of Johnston, passed away Friday, April 20, 2007 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Loreta (Forte) Fargnoli. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Domenic and Filomena (DiTomassi) Fargnoli.
Victor had worked as a polisher for Plainville Stock Co. of Attleboro, Mass. He was a member of Federal Hill Knights of Columbus, the Cranston and Manton Senior Centers and was a trustee at the former St. John Church on Federal Hill. He was also an avid bowler and Red Sox Fan. An Army Veteran, he served his country in the Korean War.
Besides his wife of 52 years, he is survived by a son, Victor P. Fargnoli, Jr. and his wife Janice; a daughter Debra Jacques; three sisters, Theresa Bernier, Phyllis Vescera and Anna Krikorian and three devoted grandchildren, Eric Jacques, Heather Fargnoli and Victor L.J. Fargnoli.
His funeral will be held Tuesday at 9am, from the MACERONI Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Brayton Ave., Providence. VISITATION Monday 5-8pm. Burial with Military Honors will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
