Vincenzo Gabriele, 88, of North Providence, passed away Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital. He was the beloved husband of the late Gisella (Iannone) Gabriele. Born in Fresagrandinaria, Provence of Chieti, Italy, he was the son of the late Carlo and Loreta (Lalla) Gabriele. He came to this country in 1949.
Vincenzo had worked for Donnelly’s Menswear of Providence. He was an excellent cook and wine maker.
He is survived by his two daughters, Maria Gabriele and Giulia Gabriele.
Visitation at the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, Saturday morning from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Holy Ghost Church, Knight St., Providence. Entombment will be in Our Risen Christ Mausoleum, St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 146 Clifford St., Providence, RI 02903. Condolences can be placed on Maceroni.com
