William Bagley

William A. Bagley, 90 formerly of Johnston, passed away Saturday, November 9, 2024, at the Holiday Nursing Home, Manville. He was the husband of the late Anna A. (Milici) Bagley. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late William and Mary (Drabec) Bagley.

Mr. Bagley was employed as a chef at Providence College, Providence for thirty years before retiring. William served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War.

 He is survived by a stepson Albert Quick; three stepdaughters, Marie Sweeney, Karen O’ Leary and Cheryl Nelson; one brother David Plante; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. 

His funeral service will be held on Friday, November 15, 2024, at 10:00AM, in the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence. Burial with Military Honors will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 14, 2024, from 4 – 7 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in William’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 Memphis Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
